Privacy Policy
memori does not collect personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device.
1. Information we collect
None. memori has no accounts, sign-in, servers, ads or analytics. mooha never sees or receives what you write or how you use the app.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is stored only on your device. Widgets and the Lock Screen read the same on-device store.
- People: name, birth year, how often you meet, phone number (optional), days you marked as met
- D-days: name, date (solar or lunar), reminder settings
- You: birthday, sex (optional), life expectancy
- Cost of life: monthly take-home pay, weekly working hours, and the last price you entered
- Settings: theme, accent color, widget style
Life expectancy is a simple estimate: the average for your age and sex from Korea's 2024 life tables (Statistics Korea). It does not diagnose health or predict lifespan, and no health information ever leaves your device.
If you have device backup turned on (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), this information is included in that backup. The backup belongs to your Apple account only; mooha cannot see it.
3. Notifications
D-day reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No external server is involved.
4. Calls and sharing
"Call" simply opens your device’s Phone app. "Save as card" sends one image to a destination you choose (Photos, Messages, etc.). Nothing is sent to mooha.
5. Contact email
If you email us from the app, we use your address and message (including device model, iOS and app version if included) only to reply, and delete them promptly once resolved.
6. Deleting your information
Settings ▸ Delete all records removes people and met days, D-days, and your birthday, sex, life expectancy, cost-of-life values and widget design. Only the theme and accent color remain. Deleting the app removes everything on your device. memori keeps nothing outside your device. Once a conversation is finished, we delete your email from both the inbox and the trash.
7. Your rights
Everything you enter stays on your device, so you can view, edit and delete it in the app yourself. To see or delete an email you sent us, write to [email protected]. We act on it within 10 days.
8. How we keep it safe
mooha has no servers, so we keep no copy of your information. We read support email only in a mail account protected by two-step verification.
9. Children
memori collects no personal information from any user, including children. If you are under 14, please email us together with a parent or guardian. If we find we have email from a child, we delete it right after replying.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
